Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also one of the first Roberts to move to Atlanta. Her father had the first interest to the stage. While a student at Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. While stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi, he received his induction into the airforce in the year 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was in that production as well. The couple got married in 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter attended Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after leaving the Airforce in 1957. In 1960, the family relocated from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of the local children's Sunday matinee show called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They also created an organization that lasted for six years called the Actors and Writers Workshop later the same year. They had two more children. Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa) as well as Julia Billingsley (1967) (also know as Julie).
