Eve Maughan was born November 22, 1982 in London, England. She is the daughter of Trevor Eve's and Sharon Maughan's. She was raised both in the cities of Los Angeles and California as well as the United Kingdom. She attended Bedales School then Westminster School London for her A Levels. During her time off, she spent time at Beverly Hills Playhouse. Then she attended St Catherine's College Oxford, she studied English. Eve was a student in the productions of An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers, Scenes from an Execution (which was toured to Edinburgh Fringe Festival), as well as The Colour of Justice while in Oxford. The actress was born into an ethnically diverse family with an Indo British father Anthony Mitra of British descent and the mom Nora Downey. English actor Guyan Mitra has an older sister and a younger one. Jason Mitra was her father. Her younger brother Guyan Mitra is a well-known journalist who was published on Lonely Planet as well as The Sunday Times.
