Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
The children were sleeping asleep in their cribs and I was strapped in with an infant to my back. Ha! The home was starting to look nice, but there was a lot that needed to be left. For furnishing the space, it was going to be an enormous undertaking both in both time and funds. I would also have go to my favorite stores. To stay in my budget I took my sons along with me as I searched for treasures in estate sales. Every week, we spent Thursday to Saturday at estate sales and garage sales purchasing old and brand new furniture. Then I repainted and smoothed in the driveway during the workweek. My love for furniture repair began with a look like this. I continued to work on furniture long after we furnished our house. I also had a booth at the market where I sold objects. Eventually I had more pieces that I knew about and had outgrown the space. More than 1000 people came to my home over the course of a weekend to buy everything on the ground floor. Growing Days was founded in my own home. Apart from my successful business, I also had the pleasure of growing our family. Finding the balance was important to me. I wished to balance being a mother as well as a business owner who was successful. Growing Days just fit. Nora my 4th child was born in the year 2013. The direction my company was heading was great, but I was forced to get some down time. I took some time away from furniture that was vintage to enjoy some quality time with my family. It was exactly what I needed. Within a couple of months, my phone started to begin to. They asked for my assistance in decorating and renovations. Most of them were people who visited my home in my open houses for furniture. It wasn't long before I had a fully-fledged home renovation company. It began with taking clients one by one in a manner that I was at ease with. If you had told me that my venture would end up being the premise for a DIY Network show, I would probably have laughed. Actually, I smile at times when I think of the story.
