Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson, an American actor, is most well-known for her performances as Buffy Summers and Rebecca Becky Granger. She also played the characters in the TV film Nightingales as well as the NBC show of the same name (which was only for a couple of episodes) and Erica Paget from CBS's show Early Edition, and Marlowe Viccellio on the TV show Psych. Born in California, Swanson began her interest in acting when she was an infant. She began her acting career through a variety of commercials. She debuted on television in an NBCs It's Your Move sitcom show from 1984. Following that, in 1986's romantic comedy Pretty in Pink, Swan was the first to debut on the big screen. Her most famous feature is the blonde hairlisp and breathless voice that she employs. Since then Swan has been acting in secondary roles. Flowers in the Attic earned her the Young Artist Award in the Horror or Mystery Motion Picture category in 1989.
