Jenna Fischer's best-known role was as Pam Beesly from the popular television series The Office. To honor the significance of her performance, she received an Emmy award for Best Actress in the Supporting Role. In addition, she won two SAG Awards.
Jenna was born and raised on the streets of St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was awed by her mother, Anne, perform in performances at church while she was a child and was able to instill a love of performing and theater.
She's a trained actress who was back in theater following The Office. She starred as Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway play Reasons to be Happy. In the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere, she starred alongside Greg Germann as well as Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's comical comedy Meteor Shower.
In October 2019, Fischer and The Office actor and friend Angela Kinsey started the podcast Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform, which has been a huge success, landing on the Top Ten globally every week and receiving over 200 million downloads within its initial two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
The Actor's Life The Actor's Life is her first book, which describes the path she traveled from St. Louis, Missouri to Hollywood and then to Hollywood, where she was a professional actress. The second book, Office BFF's (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) is an autobiography of her best friend and their experience working in The Office.
